16 Seconds to Peace

Are you finding it difficult to keep your cool? Are you feeling on edge? Are you having one of those days or maybe its been a few days now where you don't feel like your best self?

Try this and see what happens:
Let's take 16 seconds. We will do it in 4 second increments.
INHALE through the nose for 4 seconds
HOLD the breath for 4 seconds
EXHALE through the mouth for 4 seconds
HOLD the breath for 4 seconds
if you would like you can repeat a few more times.
This is one of my favorite tools I learned from my teacher DavidJi. When I'm finding it difficult to manage my emotions, I'll ask myself "do I have 16 seconds to try this?"
